@dollymixture @bo_novak @BrisBotanicGdn I have heard this anecdotally too! We decided against testing garlic, as Iโm not sure many people would like to go around smelling like it. It makes me wonder about vampire myths though - there may be some truth about it repelling blood suckers!

This plant is called Arum dioscoridis and there are about 5 individuals at the tip of Cyprus. As well as being quite beautiful; they emit a strong, fairly indescribable smell to attract their fly pollinators - flies that may have travelled 100s km on migration! #insectmigration
