I’ve met many rock climbers who’ve done exactly this.
In your 20s, it’s rad.
In your early 30s, it’s ok.
In the late 30s, it starts to suck.
Above 40, it’s just sad.
What’s worse, it’s hard to pivot because you missed out on two decades of compounding (not just money, but every aspect of life).
Don’t believe what society tells you:
It’s possible to live with one foot in each world. It’s what I’ve done for the past eight years.
(Note that I said possible, not easy.)
