Big promises.
But the reality with Ads Manager ↴
Set "Shop now" as CTA.
Live Ad shows "Learn more."
Set deadlines.
Live ad shows a random generated.
Ads Manager still living in 2015.
The actual sales/conversions.
Based on it, you can always find out “true” ROAS.
Meta, google and others like to over-report. So, ROAS can be misleading/false.
Great ROAS, weak MER?
Something is off.
Meta only sees the lead, not the closed deal.
Pick the metric that fits your model,
not the one that flatters you.

Everyone told me statics were dead.
€2,116 in spend. €31,337 in revenue.
14.81 ROAS.
80% of the creatives? Static images.
Here's what actually happened:
Small garden accessories brand. Romania. Peak spring season.
One month of running statics while everyone else chased UGC and video.
The result wasn't luck.
14x ROAS sounds like an outlier.
In most markets, it is.
But in small EU markets — right product, right season, low niche competition — this is repeatable.
I've seen it across similar accounts. March proved it again.
Here's what most people don't ask:
80% of the creatives in that account were statics.
Not UGC. Not video. Static images.
And they didn't perform by luck.
Before any static goes live in my accounts, it passes through a scorecard first.
It checks:
→ Does the hook land in under 3 seconds?
→ Is the CTA specific?
→ Does the visual hierarchy guide the eye?
If it doesn't pass, it doesn't run.
The scorecard covers every key element:
→ Headline — strong enough to stop the scroll?
→ Primary copy — right pain or desire?
→ CTA — clear and direct?
→ Visual hierarchy — eye lands where it should?
→ Offer clarity — instantly understood?
It also comes with an AI prompt that scores your creative for you.

Got excited…then I read the first headline “Marketing Is Math (Not Magic, Not Creativity)”
If it was math, not creativity then everyone would win. In the era of digital marketing everyone tries simplify marketing to numbers. Huge mistake.
Of course, math helps, metrics, tracking helps with identifying bad campaigns.
But creativity is the singular variable that will make your marketing (including meta ads) to win.
Btw, I agree, it’s not magic.
