Prof. Jake Dan-Azumi, Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, presented the @HouseNGR's Third-Year Legislative Scorecard, explaining that it was assessed using Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) standards to provide an objective evaluation of parliamentary performance.

He highlighted the House's legislative record, including 2,747 bills introduced, 363 bills passed, 72 Acts enacted, 1,320 motions considered, 766 oversight engagements, and ₦61.5 billion in public funds recovered. While noting that the House performed strongly across most IPU benchmarks, he identified women's inclusion as one of the areas requiring greater attention.

Addressing public perceptions, he noted that the gap between bills introduced, passed and assented to, is common across legislatures worldwide.
