Smart Cashtags is one of the better things to ship on X in a while.

But there's nothing 'smart' about them yet. A lot of people are complaining about the scams showing up on cashtags.

Recent example:
Click $APU and you get a 287K mcap scam copycat on not the real $APU (@apuscoin, ~$6.6M).

The feature is handing scammers free distribution and walking your users straight into bundled scams. It also craps all over the work the real community puts into the legit token.

The fix is simple: when multiple tokens share a ticker, surface the one with the highest market cap and deepest liquidity. cc @nikitabier
