#kqededchat A4:When people don't share view presented in fake news, I think it's easier to identify it as fake. The challenge is when people share the view presented. Unlearning something is hard & it requires a willingness to change. Not easy to admit being wrong.
#kqededchat A1: Being able to sift out fake news from actual news is critical in this day and age, but we are so polarized as a nation that when the news does not match our perspective, people tend to immediately label it as "fake."
@GiftedTawk Excellent! How many tree-shaped cookies can you cut and fit on the tray? Which cookie shape (candy cane, tree, round, etc.) gives you the least amount of leftover dough? This is a great idea!!!
@GlobalGEG put on a great "Lesson Fixer Upper" session. Loved the discussion on evaluating and improving lessons (moving them to new SAMR levels). Many thanks to @mrshowell24 , @SMoore_teach, @DevinRossiter, and @Give_Me_A_Sine
I am doing #edpuzzlecertification and I am intrigued by the benefits of using @edpuzzle to flip my middle school science classes. Any words of encouragement or words of caution about a flipped classroom? #istecert#nsta#educators
I am a #middleschool science teacher working on my #istecert and am curious about the creative ways you use @edpuzzle. Assessments? Review? Collaborative activity? #nsta
A7: There are lots of tools and ways we could interact with our students over the past couple months, but the most important factor (access is assumed) is the relationship that you had with them when you were face to face. #teachersfirst#OK2ask
#Edtech allows us to interact with students and provide feedback (comments, audio, video) and this feedback should occur from the beginning of the task - not giving all the feedback at the end. #teachersfirst#OK2ask
