When I was a student at VCU, I used Little Ram Pantries when I needed food.
Now I'm the lead research engineer on the tech behind them. 16 pantries have sensors and shelf cameras across two campuses, so students can check what's stocked before they walk over. And we have much more insight into the why and how behind pantry usage.

VCU’s Little Ram Pantries have received upgraded technology to help address student food insecurity.
New sensors can show the inventory of each location and help monitor usage while preserving privacy. https://t.co/nPnkJ6FLL4
Accenture has told employees it will only fund 100 rows of excel per month. Meaning that employees who often use as many as 1,000 rows are scrambling to find ways to keep access.
Killed a project and 4 Grok Bots today.
Deleting them was easy, but the other bots still had them in memory, plus old ids in their skills and stale files on disk. Clouding context and resulting in misinterpretations.
So I asked @poteto's dr eggbot to build me a Janitor. Every week it sweeps memory, skills and files for anything dead. Feel free to use it yourself! https://t.co/c3g0trTh15
@poteto ships pstack changes faster than I can read them, so I made a Grok Bot that reads them for me and maps each one to my own repos and pstack fork. Steal it here: https://t.co/pGb9P4YTSM
“I use local AI because it’s fun and cool. I know it’s not the best use of money but I genuinely enjoy it” ✅
“You are a SLAVE to OPENAI and ANTHROPIC. You really think you need ‘frontier’ intelligence to do your work? Liberate yourself.” ❌❌❌
It’s not “vibe coding” it’s “coding”. “Manual coding” is the name of a dumb hobby where you write garbage code with a keyboard. The obsolete will attempt to hold frame and it’s important to overwhelm them with the correct framing.
A lot of builders on here realized they could use AI to write their social media post and inadvertently turned themself into annoying bot accounts. It’s obvious when a post is made by AI or when you’re following a posting template and it’s honestly disrespectful to followers
i love writing. i never let agents write for me. whether it's docs, or tweets, or shitposts, or even prompts (okay maybe that one's harder as agents manage other agents)
there's a simple reason for that: i still strongly believe that writing is thinking. it's a skill i hope to never give up. it's also important to me that whatever i say is always authentic, mistakes and all. my favorite posts are the ones that i just full send without any editing
i suspect it also helps with prompting. being able to clearly express what i want, and knowing the vocabulary i need to be able to direct my agents does seem to make for more effective usage of agents. in the same way that engineers have an advantage when we prompt agents to write code, because we are intimately familiar with the words that make up the discipline
knowing the right word incantations to get an agent to produce a desired goal almost feels like spellcasting. as models get more capable, and that input box looks more and more like a magic box that can output anything, words become the interface between you and the genie
there may come a time when we give up the keyboard in exchange for brain-computer interfaces. but until then, i'm writing every word.
