Last year, Bill Nye the Science Guy said the best way to stop hurricanes was to vote for Kamala Harris.
This year, the United States marked its first hurricane-free September in a decade.
Moral of the story? Stop listening to climate alarmists.
Life is fucking electric bro. Don’t fall for the doomer shit. Thats for losers and normies scared of their own shadows. Walk around like God sent you and smile at everyone you see. Spread light and abundance. Build things and take chances. This is the best time in history!
Trash take.
Conner and Ripley spent much of their time on screen being terrified, getting their ass kicked, and running. When they really firmed up it was to protect children. It was maternal ferocity, their lethality learned in fits and starts from the men in their lives.
They are the exact opposite of the Mary Sue girl boss. They are complex, flawed, interesting characters who overcome their inate weakness to rise to the occasion and fight to survive and protect others, distrincly as women.
Florida just handed you four months of tax-free guns and ammo.
Starts tomorrow. September 1 through December 31.
No price cap.
None.
Buy the rifle.
Buy the cases of ammo.
Buy the optics and the slings.
The state is not taking a dime.
Tents and fishing rods have limits.
Firearms and ammunition do not.
DeSantis signed it. The legislature passed it.
Now it is your turn to use it.
This is what a Second Amendment state looks like.
Stock up.
The clock runs out on New Year’s Eve.
enlisting in the army, all i ever heard was how dumb marines are, yut yut, jarheads, crayon-eaters, didn't take part in the largest amphibious assault in world history, etc. etc.
in fact, it got me into hot water on my very first day as a contract intel guy, when i made a snide remark about marines to my branch chief, who was in fact a prior service marine. he knew i was joking and inter-service rivalry is the norm, but i was embarrassed af because i was the fng and he was my boss's boss. and he really liked to check up on me after that. anyway.
in late 2010 i move from kandahar/KAF, afghanistan, to bastion, which was a british base in helmand province. and i'd bounce between there and leatherneck, the big marine base, for the remainder of my 18-month contract deployment, where i worked with marine units almost exclusively. (i was attached to a joint service unit, to include brits, canadians, and aussies.)
i gotta tell ya. i enjoyed working with the marines much more than big army. i struggle to even put it into words how seriously they took the mission. they were smaller and expected to do more with less, to the point where they even had sub-optimal gear, which they were actually somehow proud of.
i say this as obviously an army veteran: the marines with RCT 1 (1/3) and RCT 7 (3/7) were on average more professional than army units, imo. and i just assume those units are broadly indicative of the rest of the marine corps.
which is why i fear so heavily for ontario.
