The Friends of Foots Cray Meadows were formed in 2006 by local people recognising the importance of protecting the biodiversity features of Foots Cray Meadows.
Thanks to all who joined the Wellness Walk yesterday. We had a good turnout and the weather stayed dry. The newly created Foots Cray Meadows postcards were well received! To continue with the success, we plan on doing another Wellness walk in the Autumn.

Our AGM is this coming Tuesday evening, 22nd on The Meadows at the Information centre (rear of Stable House) starting at 7pm. We’re hoping to sit outside to meet covid reqs. If it rains we will postpone but, fingers crossed, we will see you on Tuesday 🙏

Dear councils, 97% of UK meadows are gone. So please: if you have wildflowers like ox-eye daisies on roadverges and in public spaces, don't spray them with weedkiller or over-mow them. Let's give pollinating insects like bees and butterflies a chance 🐝
