@beadabeee Oh to read this series again 🖤 for me it was more the world building and political intrigue, than the enemies to lovers part. Just read on for Jude, never mind Cardan 😉 Jude was a very interesting character with lots of flaws. was refreshing to read in a lead character
@balladofthefox felt like reading glorified abuse and metaphor for r*ape/non-consensual acts and i’m not that sensitive. was shocked how bad it was tbh
@irinaslibrary I read a lot of different books and i like occult and dark gothic tales, but i was shocked at how much non-consensual shit was going on in this one. The 1-2 stars reviews are full of similar complaints
