@prieurdp Or do you mean parallel parking? That’s just because you can get into a smaller space when reversing into it, since the turning wheels are on the front.
@prieurdp Anyone who’s driven professionally gets told to back into parking spaces whenever possible. It’s safer to reverse when aware of your surroundings (approaching a parking space) than when you have limited sight (backing out of one). Something like 25% of crashes involve reverse.
@Brendan_F_Wendt@Wilson__Valdez Similar: the Peter Parker meme where he’s got his glasses off and squinting at something that’s “wrong,” then has his glasses on and sees the truth.
Except the context of the movie is he’s just realized that he can see better without his glasses.
@KellyStuar80022@_vincentlange@KyleMau Fahrenheit’s 0 and 100 are the approximate outer bounds of outdoor temperature.
Water’s boiling temperature isn’t 100C for most of the world; that’s at sea level. Where I live it’s 95.
Why indeed? Fahrenheit is clearly superior.
@ashleyschendel Ive since started using a MagSafe wallet attached to my phone but before that I had a buffalo leather one that still looked new after a decade.
@LavenderGhast To simplify: the show removed a plot line about un-blipped people being blamed for spreading disease, which would have been a little too on the nose mid-COVID. But getting rid of that made the flag smashers come off less sympathetic and Walker more so than he was intended to be.
@sam_d_1995 It’s not an unreasonable request? Other hotels are telling guests with a today check out to stay in their rooms since they have nowhere to go.
