Sending love to volunteers from @HartfordSOG who are part of the #WGC2022 ceremonies team this week.
And a huge shout out to @MichelleOakes2 who has devised that part of the event for the organisers.
Immensely proud of you all ๐
@simmo_on_sport She put her team mates first yesterday. She didnโt want to mess up for them. She made the very brave and difficult decision to step back. She set the best example in the world by putting her mental health and well-being first and I have a huge amount of respect for her.
@simmo_on_sport Wish we had comps like this in the UK! For mainstream gymnastics not just elite or college/uni gymnasts. Less about what you can do and more about the performance, it would open the door to so many kids who donโt like comps as they are too stressful! Look like so much fun!! ๐คธ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐
To make the most of their daily exercise our Display Team have walked 214 miles from our gym to Ravenscraig where the Scottish Gymfest was last held in 2019. We are now challenging other clubs and teams to do the same or something similar! Please share! #letsgetmoving ๐ฅพ
@simmo_on_sport I found it very moving! His family are all so close and how he pushed them all away mustโve been so hard for them. Iโm glad he found help and from his social media posts looks to be doing a lot better again. I really hope he can make Tokyo. That would be the best end to his story
To my fellow sports fans and gymnastics fans, I urge you to watch this video created by Nile Wilson. Very brave of him to share his story like this. Please be advised that swear words and references to drinking, gambling and suicide are used throughout. https://t.co/1hzx6JAoff
Our Display Team shouldโve been on their way to #gymfest2020 today. They wanted to go so much they did the routine at home and made this video. They were really looking forward to performing. Full video on Facebook please share. @ScotGymnastics@RadioNorthwich@simmo_on_sport
