This morning I was happy to be at St. Joseph's Parish to celebrate the end of the year school Mass with the students & staff of O'Gorman Intermediate. It was an opportunity to give thanks to God for all the blessings of year & ask God's blessing for the upcoming summer months.

Today I was happy to welcome Fr. Mathew Areekkatu to our Parishes as our new associate. He will spend 50% of his time with the Syro-Malabar community, 25% of his time at the Cathedral, and the remaining 25% of his time at Sacred Heart. Welcome Fr. Mathew!

Today, I welcomed the 2026 grad class from O'Gorman High School to St. Anthony's for their grad retreat. I was happy to open the day in prayer & share some words. Jack Buhler, a recent grad, shared some life lessons he learned through his high school and university days.

Yesterday, I was happy to join thousands of pro-lifers in Ottawa for the National March for Life as we stood up for the sanctity of human. Great to see so many young families & young adults out for the March. Great to be there with Priests for Life Canada.

It was a full house at St. Joseph's Parish this morning as students and staff from O'Gorman High School gathered for our Catholic Education Mass. It was an opportunity for me to reflect with them on what it means to be a pilgrim of hope as we journey one step at a time.

During this Marian month, the Cathedral Legion of Mary hosted a communal recitation of the rosary this evening at St. Anthony's Cathedral. It was great to see parishioners from both Parishes come out to pray this beautiful Marian devotion with the Legion of Mary.
