Lord, give me the persistent, humble faith of the Canaanite woman. Even when You seem silent, let me trust Your everlasting love and never stop believing. Amen.
Lord Jesus, when storms rise and fear tempts me to doubt, help me fix my gaze on You alone. Strengthen my trust, calm my heart, and hold me steady. Amen.
O God, all-powerful and ever faithful, You alone turn death into life and delay into deeper trust. Strengthen us to believe, even when we cannot see. Amen.
My dear brothers and sisters,
Another election season is upon us. Our nation is strengthened when citizens choose responsibility over indifference. Catholic Social Teaching reminds us that every person has a duty to participate in the life of society and to work for the common good.
Exercising this civic responsibility begins with being prepared to participate in the electoral process. While the place of prayer in fostering good governance for our nation cannot be overstated, we also encourage all eligible Nigerian citizens to fulfil their civic responsibility with integrity, wisdom, and a deep commitment to the common good.
As the voter registration period gradually draws to a close on Sunday, 26 July 2026, let us prayerfully take the important step of obtaining our Permanent Voter Card (PVC) for the 2027 General Elections. In doing so, we affirm our hope for a Nigeria where justice prevails, leaders are accountable, and the dignity of every human person is upheld.
Lord, let my worship be sincere. Help me act justly, love tenderly, walk humbly, and truly remember Your mercy. Bless this new week; guide my steps, renew my heart, and walk with me daily. Amen.
Lord, Sower of good seed, keep me rooted as wheat despite the enemy’s temptations. Grant me patience like yours, fruitfulness in grace, and perseverance until the harvest. Amen.
Happy 40th birthday, @FrUgochukwu Thank you for your faithful ministry, tireless service, and shepherding heart. May God bless you with continued grace, joy, and strength for many more years in his vineyard.
Today, I celebrate my 40th birthday.
Forty years of life.
Forty years of God's amazing grace.
Forty years of mercy.
Forty years of countless blessings.
To God alone be all the glory🙏🏿
Lord Jesus, though I feel bruised and my hope grows faint, I trust You will not crush or discard me. Restore my strength, rekindle my spirit, and transform my wounds into grace. Amen.
Elected as the 267th Bishop of Rome, Pope Leo XIV made history as the very first American to ascend the throne of St. Peter. Deeply shaped by his decades serving marginalized communities in Peru, his papacy balances American roots with a profound Latin American missionary perspective.
He frequently emphasizes that words, not just weapons, possess the unique power to wound or heal a fracturing world.History proves that true bridge-builders always face intense pushback from the status quo.
May God Continue to be with Him
Today, may God answer your hidden tears and unspoken prayers. He is saying: ‘I have heard your prayers. I have seen your tears. And behold,I will do far more than you have asked.
