Today marks the 8 year anniversary of the tragic killing of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz. 🕊️🙏🏾

The 15-year-old was killed by members of the Dominican-American gang Trinitarios in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. The death occurred due to mistaken identification. Public outrage arose when graphic video of the murder began to circulate on the Internet.

Fourteen suspects, all members of the Trinitario gang, were arrested in connection with Guzman-Feliz's death.

In June 2025, Jonaiki Martinez-Estrella, known to deliver the fatal stab wound to Junior, was found dead in his cell. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
