I paint mine once a week - 2 coats of Sally Hansen Insta Dri (gold, silver, or a pearl like color) and a top coat of Essie’s gel couture. I also keep my nails short. No chipping until day 5. Only cost other than restocking polish throughout the year is my time; which is just a few minutes once a week.

@OrevaZSN Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Enjoy life while you have it. My Dad died of a heart attack the day he reached out to HR to inquire about his rule of 80 date. He was 64, and never had the opportunity to “enjoy” a retirement.

My Dad died of a massive heart attack at 64, just a few months before he was eligible for retirement. The day he died he reached out to HR to confirm his retirement date and forwarded me the email since we worked together. I spoke with him later that day about his email and it was my last conversation with him. We ended the call with “I love you - I’ll see you tomorrow in the cafe”. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Enjoy life with what time you have left, thank God for your blessings, and repent of your sins as often as you can.

@Nithya_Shrii May 2026 is 25 years at the same company for me - but many different jobs, wherever they need me. I enjoy solving problems and helping people. I thank God every day for carrying me through my trials and blessing me.

💯 People forget Satan exists to fully destroy what is good and Godly. He wants nothing more than to elicit sin and cause doubt that Jesus is Lord and savior - just as he infected Judas to betray Jesus and Peter to deny him 3x. The Bible itself is proof of God, full of his prophesies. He sent his one and only son to die for our sins. Through Jesus’ death on the cross, our souls our eternally saved. That ultimate gift, if you believe, can be yours.

I loved that time period - and would’ve agreed with you until I listened to this 1965 Billy Graham sermon “A World in Crisis”. You know what people were worried about? Automation. Billy Graham said with all the automation, man would only need to work ~3 hours a week and there would be nothing left to do in the next 10 years. That was in 1965. Fast forward to 2026 and we’re having the same conversations. True happiness comes from receiving Jesus as your Lord and savior, repenting of one’s sins, and sharing the gospel with others. Knowing where my soul stands brings an incredible amount of peace, optimism, and happiness.

“Dad Surprise” - growing up when there wasn’t a lot, Dad regularly cooked ground beef in a frying pan adding in a simple homemade flour and beef bullion gravy, then we’d pour it over buttered white rice. It was super cheap and delicious! Dad would be proud as it’s still a favorite I make today! 🥰
