The second part of the quest in Gridania made me smile a lot and I am truly grateful that this game has managed to mend old hurts and bring together some great characters again. Thank you, FFXIV, and happy 13th anniversary!

This morning has been Yoshi-P morning for me somehow. First I finally completed my collection of EW EX mounts and claimed the capstone bonus mount. Really loved the throwback to 1.0/2.0 and the reminder of Bahamut's suffering. I'll let him soar the heavens with me plenty!

Then I went to Limsa for The Rising 2026. Cute story around it, and another reminder that Evercold will mark a new beginning in the game history. I truly do look forward to it and to continuing this journey for long years to come!

Ehh, EX5 wings just dropped for me. From an underwhelming 55 roll from a learning party I decided to help out in, of all scenarios. I'm happy to have them, but now I'm also a little sad because the duty was really fun. Ah well.

Got around doing the summer event this morning! Spent quite a while walking around and hanging out with old friends. Looking forward to tackling the jump puzzle again this year!

Earlier this week, rng finally took pity on me and the EX4 wings dropped. That was the toughest so far.. the fight itself was great fun, but PF groups were shockingly inconsistent.
I love that the wings perfectly complement this dusk warrior glam I made a while ago ❤️

Tomorrow, I think I'll continue Occult Crescent - although I guess it will be a while until I see that to its end if I need to gain 20 more levels for that. Then again, the first 20 didn't feel too much of a drag and I look forward to exploring the map in its entirety!

The side stories of Dawntrail were all really well-made. Enjoyed Hildi as usual, loved the Noir flair they brought in.
The tribe quest was truly wholesome and cozy. Rounded it off quite nicely.
And they really weren't stingy with rewards!!

No u just rolled 92 on the wings that dropped during your first ever pull/clear of EX2 and got them ;;

... I felt obliged to stay for 3 more tries until someone else was leaving the group ...

My efforts with EX7 have been rewarded by rolling a whopping 99 on the EX1 wings on my 4th-ever clear ;;

Also, I managed to get weapons for ALL jobs. I'm even sitting on a weapon coffer I cannot use now bc I've geared every single job with that weapon. So that's how people do this lol

I did it, and I at least SAW that the mount exists in my game 1x in 50 :')
But also got the mat once so my reward is not only waiting until the end of the year to trade those totems in, but I also get to craft myself a butt-ugly chocobo harnish right now. Yay! Worth it.

No, but in all honesty, I am really proud of myself. I haven't played current end game content since SHB, and I learned the mechs, learned more about my job and how to play better.
I just hope the drop rates/rng are kinder to me for the other wing mounts ... ;__;
