Taiwanese designer Yi-Fei Chenβs 2016 βTear Gunβ catches tears beneath the eye, freezes them inside a brass container and launches the frozen drops. The project grew from her struggle to speak up during a confrontation at Design Academy Eindhoven.
It was conceptual artβnot a new Taiwanese weapon or commercial firearm.
