I didn't realize that, in shooting 0 for 50+ submissions, the first pages of seven of my stories have enjoyed a readership of over a hundred souls. I am glowing!
Are paper rejections really that bad? My papers get read by ~3 people on average. Each rejection means a resubmission, which means 3 more readers. After 4 rejections, that's double-digit readership.
Fondly remembering the unc in my community college geology class who put on his glasses to inspect a classmate's butt in spandex with great concentration.
@bean_maste35440@osintPk I'm actually trying to understand what you're saying. Are you arguing it's the same fire as the kind from refinery plants' flare stacks?
@bean_maste35440@osintPk *Bombed oil. Air there is now dense mixture of incomplete products from that combustion and toxic particulate matter from bombings. If you're trying to deny that's harmful, it means you'll have a moral issue if it is--you're on the right track
As one of the most critically successful apps alumni (1 date, 1 life partner), I should offer courses. I can help anyone use a dating app for mating purposes with >50% success rate. Unfortunately it would begin with the enumeration of the traits that make one uniquely repulsive
i think if i were in a situation where i had to try to find a partner via dating app i would just kill myself instead. i don't think i could do any of that
Watching your average person wrestle a rolling suitcase out of the overhead bin, set it on the floor the right way and deploy the handle reminds you most people do not know how to operate their own bodies.
@nate_knapp24 That was understood, hence my emphasis. What you said means "I'm trying to write a better novel than [some Great]," no? And for me, that makes no sense. Writing isn't a track event unless that event is a relay race on an infinite plane
