“It was a mistake, I wrongly perceived your relationship with Buck and that’s on me,” Frank said and Eddie shook his head.
“No, Frank, why did you think Buck and I were dating?” Eddie asked, expression serious and demanding and Frank sighed deeply.
"You died on me, Evan." Eddie sniffs, looks away for a second before his eyes return to Buck with a longing that makes Buck want to do something truly insane. "You left."
"I came back."
"3 minutes was enough to break me in two," Eddie confesses quiet and tender and overwhelming
The problem is that Eddie notices.
Things like the curve of Buck’s biceps, the slight swell of his chest and the glint of sunlight against his skin when he strips his shirt off.
Things like the fact that Eddie wants to put his mouth on all of it.
I have to confess that months ago I decided to stop watching the show because I didn't want to be played anymore. They perfectly knew what they were doing and they kept doing it because they needed numbers for the show to keep going.
I'm so tired of being right.
@JoyceCecilia143 I've been very young too and I do remember how it felt to be so sure thing would've gone a certain way in a show. What it's really not right is to play with that hope to keep your viewers % as high as possible.

“What year is it, Buck?”
“2021,” he answered easily.
Eddie’s silence was more worrying than any answer his best friend could give.
“Eddie?” Buck pushed “What’s wrong?”
Eddie’s eyes were wide, as he replied, his voice shaking as he finally explained. “Buck, it’s 2024.”
