If you’re lying in bed scrolling through social media and all the news about the #Coronavirus is making you anxious, put the phone down, get out of bed🚀 and focus on what you can control— eat a healthy breakfast, limit travel, exercise and stay positive.
Stop waiting for thing to go back to normal. They aren’t going back there.
Grieve. Mourn what you’ll miss.
Then plan. Celebrate the opportunity to write new chapters.
Come to terms with your future being different from the past and allow that reality to help you move forward.
On my outdoor excursion, I was approaching a bubble family consisting of 3 children who were scattered all over the walking path. The father saw me and shouted “BUBBLE FORMATION” and all children immediately snapped back into close contact, 2 metres from me. That’s parenting.
The gift nobody’s asked for is sitting here for us all to open — an opportunity to do some housekeeping in where we focus, who we spend time with, what we consume, how we work, what matters and most importantly what doesn’t.
Take notes. We’re getting a lesson we cannot forget.
