What happens when you tell a deeply human story, using nothing but a user interface? That’s exactly what we set out to do in this piece about Google. When a product becomes part of the way people live, plan, and grow, it stops being ‘software’ and starts being part of the fabric of everyday life. So we chose not to show the people, and instead, told their story entirely through their actions in Google Workspace. Our visual approach to this project was deliberately restrained. With the interface being the main character, each frame’s job is to progress the story forward, whilst staying unmistakably Google.
