I cannot speak for everyone but when the USWNT played Spain in DC 2 weeks ago, we stood at the bus to wait for Spain to come outside. Alexia immediately walked over and signed for/took pictures with a TON of people and then got onto the bus. Everybody at the other barricade kept calling her name so she got back OFF the bus and went over there to sign/take pictures for another 5-10 minutes. She was quiet but SO incredibly kind and genuinely took time with people.

People always tell you to not meet your heroes because they’ll turn out different. This was the total opposite of that, I couldn’t believe how long she spent with all of us.
