The best part about this Bubista feat is that HE BUILT A FORMIDABLE TEAM BEYOND THE STARTING 11.
20 of his 26 players actually played in the World Cup.
TWENTY.
That means only 4 outfield players and the 2 reserve goalkeepers did not feature in the 4 matches they played.
When you take into consideration that none of their matches was a dead rubber game, hands down that is the most impressive team ensemble and team trust by any coach actively competing at the World Cup in recent history.
Drew with Spain ✅
Drew with Uruguay ✅
Didn't lose a game in normal time ✅
Pushed the holders to the limit ✅
Their 2026 adventure is over, but what an incredible first World Cup for Cape Verde! 🇨🇻
🚨 JUST IN: President Trump announces he will "TAKE CARE" of birthright citizenship for illegals and foreigners after the Supreme Court ruling
"It was meant for the babies of SLAVES!" 💯
"Not for rich people from CHINA!"
"I KNOW they got it wrong."
"We'll take care of the birthright citizenship. That was NOT meant for rich people from other countries!"
It's now sounding like mandatory internship after school. But hopefully, the paramilitary training is not totally gone. Else, the entire NYSC should be scrapped outright.
The first three weeks is general leadership and entrepreneurship training. The last three weeks is an introduction to your own area of interest, from
Tech, to public service, to agriculture, to the creative industry, etc., mentored by people who have have done it and been successful at it.
The advice stands, but a good "smart" lawyer would advise their client (particularly, a hospital or medical body) not to take this video as evidence. The nurse will sue for unlawful or wrongful termination. She likely even posted this video as bait.
A piece of advice to anyone with ears:
If you are a nurse, a doctor, a health worker or a care worker in any professional capacity, please I beg you do not post videos like this where you are partying hard few hours before you go to attend to unwell, vulnerable, dying, helpless or sick patients.
I expect that the usual dumb clowns on social media will applaud something like this because they never think beyond the superficial on any matter, but if a patient under your medical/nursing care dies or develops a serious complication due to suspected negligence, and the family decides to sue/take it up, they can use reckless videos like this to argue a case of deliberate medical negligence on your part. Smart lawyers will argue, quite rightly so, that you intentionally chose to put patient’s lives at risk by your actions.
In addition to that,
Your professional body can suspend and/or withdraw your practising license for gross unprofessional conduct if an official complaint is made against you purely on grounds of wilfully putting the lives of vulnerable patients at risk.
Imagine your mother is sick and dying in hospital. Then you come on social media to find the nurse attending to her in the morning shift, posted herself clubbing hard till 3am just few hours before the shift. Will you not worry about your mother’s safety? If your mother died on that nurse’s shift, will a part of you not wonder if the nurse was negligent?
Nigeria is lawless so there’s a lot of daily madness that is easily excused and overlooked. But please I’m begging you, if you are a professional working in healthcare, whatever your role may be, and if you work in a sane sensible country, or even if you work in Nigeria, I’m begging you:
Please don’t make yourself a scapegoat and don’t lose your hard earned license because of a few likes online from empty-headed olodos who celebrate reckless crap like this, that can get you in serious but avoidable professional trouble that you will regret for a long time.
You are a professional.
You are a health professional.
Human lives are in your very hands.
You must never forget that. You can’t afford to be posting reckless videos that may suggest that you are intentionally putting vulnerable people’s lives at risk with your deliberately stupid decisions.
I now understand the American dream.
I came to the World Cup because I was offered a last minute ticket to watch England play Croatia in Dallas and I started documenting my journey.
The content went viral on social media. So much so, the President of the United States saw it himself.
I was invited to attend the grand opening of the great American state fair for freedom 250 and halfway through Donald Trumps speech, I was told to come and wait back stage for a photograph.
This sort of thing could only happen in America.
As an Englishman I never really understood what America has to make it “the land of opportunity”
But results speak for themselves.
If 3-hour prayer was enough for our Saviour to go to the cross, you better don’t kill yourself for any dimension.
"Oh, but Jesus prayed and fasted for 40 days." The Bible records only three people having fasted for 40 days and each one of them was supernatural empowered for the fast:
Moses, who laid the foundation of the Old Covenant, was with God on Mount Sinai for 40 days. Likewise, Jesus, who birth the New Covenant, was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness for 40 days.
The third person was Elijah. He was fed by an angel, went in the strength of the food for 40 days, and was taken to heaven shortly after. We would later learn that John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Jesus, the mediator of the New Covenant, came in the spirit of Elijah.
In other words, each of these three people had something to do with establishing God's covenants with man. So, if God has not given you such undertaking, please, what are you doing with 40 days dry fast?
Prayer is largely about consistency, not sprints. That is the meaning of praying without ceasing.
There is simplicity to this gospel: Don't rely on your strengths but on Christ!
The pastor did a great thing, but we should be careful about this style of giving, considering what the Lord says in Matt. 6:2-4:
"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
In this passage, the Lord addresses public giving. He doesn't say the act itself is wrong, but He warns against doing it for praise, which won't earn you a reward from God. Instead, He recommends giving quietly, which helps eliminate the wrong motive from the very start.
When you give in secret, the only acknowledgment you may receive is a simple thank you from the person you are helping. This minimizes any desire for recognition and ensures that your reward comes solely from God.
Giving in secret also helps you avoid pride sneaking into your heart when others commend you for your generosity, as done in this post. This was the case with Herod, who got punished, as God does not share His glory with anyone (Acts 12:21-23; Prov. 16:18).
Lastly, giving in secret helps protect the dignity of those in need. This is because while giving is a righteous act, it should not be exercised like other acts, such as working of miracles (Matt. 6:1; Acts 10:38).
Miracles often have a public aspect to them because the needs are already visible. People already see that someone is sick, blind, lame, deaf, or dead.
However, you often wouldn't know who is struggling financially unless they share their situation with you, and usually, this is done in private. If that's the case, why then would you want to make your gift public and potentially embarrass the recipient?
Even those who are ill or disabled would likely prefer to keep both their situation and miracle private if given a choice. That was the case of the woman with the issue of blood, who tried to remain unnoticed:
"Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at His feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed." (Luke 8:47).
Jesus likely asked her to come forward only because the blessings you receive from God in private should ultimately bring glory to God in public (Matt. 10:27, 32). She worked her miracle in private and should give glory to God in public.
Likewise, do your giving in secret and let the recipient, to whom your gift might have been a miracle, be the one to talk about it openly if they so wish. Your role is simply to show kindness to them.
To summarize, GIVE IN SECRET to avoid pride, protect the dignity of those in need, and make sure that all glory goes to God, who provided you with the means to give in the first place.
Today service was one of a kind. My Pastor ask! "Is there anyone here, You urgently need 10k to sort out a family matter, if this is you come out."
Everyone was quiet, Then suddenly a man stood up and said "since I lost my job, nothing as been the way it should be. all I need is ₦5,000 to buy food for my family. They haven't had anything to do eat since yesterday morning."
Then my pastor Responded do you believe there is nothing God cannot do. He said yes.... My pastor Request for his account number and send ₦1,200,000 to him. 200k to stuck his house with food and 1million to start something with his life.....
And that's how he was blessed. Isn't God wonderful 🎁🎈🎉
My Hightlight of Today's father's day celebration 💃
You have a point; still, you're racist. You just defined your "ancestrally Dutch" term as white. In other words, if these players were all white and blonde, you likely won't care about their origin. It's like how your queen isn't native Dutch, but that's okay with you because she's white and blonde (-ish).
I feel increasingly disinterested in the Dutch national team. It is really quite difficult to explain without sounding racist.
When players who are not ancestrally Dutch perform well, I just don't feel this sense of pride that I used to feel. Now, one could argue that national pride, especially pride for a football team, is completely irrational. Perhaps, but it seems like human nature and basic tribalism.
Players who are not ancestrally Dutch cannot be part of my tribe. So it almost feels like cheating when they perform for the national team. And increasingly, I feel like international football doesn't make sense because it's team of immigrants x versus team of immigrants y. But it's such a buzzkill to so many people to ponder this new reality.
Furthermore, the people who are into the Dutch national team (mostly white people), especially the ones who actually attend games, are so far removed from the black community or immigrant communities in general. It seems just so jarring.
Haaland and Norway can pretend to be Vikings, and it makes sense. But the Dutch squad couldn't pretend to be Golden Age seafaring privateers or merchants (unfortunately we don't have a Viking-equivalent). It would again be jarring, because most of the players aren't ancestrally Dutch.
I thought it was so interesting. During the Netherlands-Sweden game today, the camera panned towards Lucas Bergvall and the commentator mentioned something along the lines of: "It doesn't get more Swedish than that.", referring to him having bright blonde hair and blue eyes. Odd, because I thought you wouldn't be allowed to make such comments anymore. But it shows that everybody can recognize the concept of a "true Swede", in this case. You know it when you see it. And there are implications.
In my mind, the Dutch national team is still this grand symbolic thing. I want them to do well. But even if the Netherlands wins the whole thing, feeling proud seems jarring (I like the word jarring). Because we didn't do it ourselves. We needed others to do it for us. I just don't feel it's honorable.
It baffles some that the Church can be both body and bride of Christ. However, when you remember that Eve was both body and bride of Adam, you understand how this is possible with Christ, the second Adam.
Someone put a million dollars on Spain to beat Cape Verde and walked away with eighty-five thousand in profit.
That smile in the photo is exactly how that person felt when the final whistle blew.
the payout was only 8.5% on a million dollars.
Meaning the market priced this as basically a foregone conclusion.
And honestly? It was.
Spain are reigning world champions. Cape Verde, with all due respect, are not in that conversation yet.
So the real bet was not on Spain winning.
It was on certainty paying better than nothing.
Because $85,000 for a near-guaranteed result is still $85,000 more than you had yesterday.
The bold move was not picking Spain. The bold move was putting a million on the line to prove a point most people already knew was true.
DAVID IS COMING!
One of the oldest games of thrones ever played was the saga of Saul and David. It was directed by God Himself 3,000 years ago and is now being retold by Him in a Nigerian context.
Remember Pastor Paul Adefarasin's famous prophecy before the 2023 elections? He said, "Saul will come and David after," and got a lot of flak for making that statement during a tense election season when people were hoping for real change in Nigeria.
As it turns out, that election unfolded exactly as he prophesied. And now, I believe God is elaborating on it in this dream, revealing who Saul is in our Nigerian setting and how David will come after, with Ishbosheth in between.
It is one of my most detailed visions about Nigeria and the follow-up to the 2025 update I shared. I believe it is the next step for our nation, regardless of the outcome of 2027 and other elections to come.
Until David rules, every leader who precedes him is a Saul. They and their associates are the Saul class. God has rejected them due to their brazen rebellion and cowardly posture in 2023.
However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't vote; please do. Saul wasn't entirely bad, so this Saul class has its good people, too.
If everyone's favorite candidate right now wins in 2027, he will be light-years better than what we currently have. Still, I must emphasize: HE IS NOT GOD'S CHOICE; none of them are.
In 2023, maybe. But now, God has sidestepped him and his peers and is looking to the next generation—the David class—who will fight valiantly as David and his men did.
He paints us that picture here, giving clear instructions (unlike before) to help us avoid the mistakes from His last visit in 2023, especially since His next visit might be Nigeria's last chance!
Therefore, I encourage you to read this carefully, reflect on it, and war with it to see it fulfilled. Also, share with your friends. My dream makes clear that this next act requires all of us.
God bless Nigeria! 🇳🇬

The reason anyone gets insanely rich is almost always because of the stock market. It certainly how @elonmusk did.
And the reason they get rich from the stock market, is because 150m Americans decided they wanted to own shares of stocks directly, or through their retirement plans, or through other approaches as a way of building their net worth and trying to create a better life for themselves.
One Hundred Fifty Million Americans. About 60% of adults.
Effectively believing that @elonmusk and many billionaires could make them wealthier and help them achieve a better life.
If you want @elonmusk , and most billionaires to no longer be that rich, convince those 150m to sell their stocks, funds, ETFs whatever.
Of course you would wipe out the net-worth of most of those people, and everyone else’s savings, as the markets crashed and brought down the economy and created the worst depression we have ever seen.
Alternatively
There are ways to improve healthcare access and eventually make it available to all.
To start -
If you want @elonmusk and all billionaires to improve healthcare for everyone , ask them to stop doing business with the enormous healthcare conglomerates and to work directly with transparently priced care providers.
It’s the behemoth HC conglomerates that make HC so bad for so many. (Check my timeline for more detail)
Removing them would push the cost of healthcare down for everyone. Their corporate decisions impact our healthcare cost and availability.
Of course if they do that, not only would our HC costs go down , and the quality of care for their employees and the entire country go up
But
They would see their corporate cash flow increase dramatically and we would have more millionaires, billionaires and maybe even another trillionaire when that cash flow moved from the big health care conglomerates to their bottom line, so would the net worth of the 150 million American adults that own public stocks
Capitalism is better than socialism because 150m Americans can influence exactly what happens in this country.
