I'm looking for methods of dimensionality reduction that are generative, i.e. where the reduced-dimensional space can be expanded to index parameters for generating potentially novel example data points.

My intuition about the tech job market is that there will be a devaluing of basic to intermediate coding skills over the next few years. What will increase in value is the ability to justify technical investments and predict their success.
