It's likely they initially intended to reward the (now nonexistent) Decennium tracer skin at first, swapped it for the 10Years skin, and forgot to update the photo. Fun little slip-up to notice.

Reward preview for the anniversary tracer skin shows a skin that follows the same patterns as the rest of the "Decennium" skins, being half purple and half white. The actual "10-Years Cheers" tracer skin is different, being symmetrical with pulsing colors.

@awamowi The whole "address the controversy" bit towards people with no actual controversy is so overdone and has left the circles where it works. It's immediately recognizable as a joke when there are many people saying different absurd things, but otherwise just causes real confusion.
