We get new snowmaking infrastructure in the spring, thanks to federal and state grant money.

But Frost Fire will not open for the 2022-2023 winter season, due to major malfunctions with the current snowmaking system.

This is a temporary, single-season shut down.

We are thrilled that fundraiser extraordinaire Max Mostad is hosting a Halloween event again this year. His plan is bigger than last year and he plans to donate proceeds to Frost Fire Park again! Thank you Max!

Saturday afternoon update: Trails opening for general mountain biking and race practice a 1 p.m. Race time moved to 3 p.m.

Downhill Mountain Bike Saturday a.m. Update: Trails are very wet right now. There is standing water on some of them. We are still going to open, but we're hoping for a delayed opening at this time and even may be delayed race start time.
