@ThomasGalvin If anything this helped Notre Dame. No time was running off the clock during all of that so it gave Notre Dame time to get to the line and get set and be ready for the snap as soon as they started at the clock.
@nieman_pj41902@jaromjordan Had the clock not started at all do you honestly think that they would give ND another play with 4 on the clock because that's what it read when the play was over? No, they would go back and time it and take off the time it took. How is a late start any different
@nieman_pj41902@jaromjordan So you think that Notre Dame was trying to squeeze two plays in in 4 seconds? No, everyone in the stadium including Notre Dame knew that would be the last play. But you think that because the clock operator started the clock late Notre Dame should be rewarded with another play?
@tyhildenbrandt@SolidVerbal Ohio State is not #1. They lost to a team that now has 2 unranked losses and will most likely drop out of the top 25 after they lose this week. You have no business being ranked even in the top 5 with a loss to a soon to be unranked team.
@D0NNY_3 It will help to expose the sec and B10 showing the country that they aren't the power house conferences that they think they are. I could also see it helping to spread out the best recruits instead of all of them going to a handful of schools.
@cheesefries73 So let me get this straight. Utah beats Iowa State by 14 and Iowa State was within 1 score in the 4th and all is well. BYU beats Iowa State by 14 and Iowa State was never within 1 score in the 4th but that's a serious scare? Got it.
@Crazzmatazzy@MitchIsBolted21@AP I know math is hard for you but BYU beat them by the same margin that Utah beat them. And Iowa State was within 7 points in the 4th quarter against Utah. The closest they ever got to BYU in the 4th was 11 and that was due to a muffed punt that gave them a short field.
@CriddleBenjamin Normally I think it's bad to boo your own team but I don't blame them right now because nobody on the court looks like they even care.
@Haywire1120@cody_kellner Are we just going to skip over the fact that Utah scored zero points in the second half? The refs didn't lose that game for Utah, Utah lost that game on their own.
@burton_chad@TotalBlueSports I disagree with it being a weak call in that situation. It was a clear hold and that was Retzlaff's first read. It clearly affected the outcome of that play. https://t.co/vtinvvI1JG
@gREAYtness@Jamesjimmyjimm The call stood because the FS1 camera crew sucks and didn't even have the ball in frame when it hit the turf so the refs had no choice but to have the call on the field stand. Refs aren't allowed to use in stadium footage for reviews.
