I had to buy a pregnancy test once and the cashier excitingly was like “omg!! what are you hoping for??” and I awkwardly was like... “uhh a negative..” and she looked so stunned and embarrassed and honestly she should have because DONT DO THAT.

@tanyajunghans Oh interesting! On a related note: last time my dermatologist checked my moles I asked her if my tattoos were a problem. She said nope, most local artists know not to tattoo over moles but around them. She's only seen tats covering moles when the person for it in eg Thailand.

@tanyajunghans I read somewhere as a teenager, before I ever got my nails done, that you should never cut your cuticles because they can get ragged, you can get an infection etc. Almost 20 years later I still have to explicitly tell technicians not to cut mine (and they look fine).
