So true, when money was flowing I’ve seen the worst SWE I worked with find jobs in a couple of days,m. Which means the comp for good was increasing.
Today, the comp for A+ is flying, but no one hires below average anymore, so lots of people struggle to find work and the comp for good engineers stagnates/decreases.
