@ka_glowacka Contact all the local shelters and pounds in case it’s been handed in. Check with neighbours who have garages or huts incase it got shut in. Leave some food out. Even try leaving the litter tray out, the smell may bring it home

🆘🆘 PJ (ID 253413), 6 YO, MALE – IN MANHATTAN ACC - came into the shelter as an aco - owner surrender on 5/1/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- death of owner. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
➡️TBD 6/9/26
➡️ 🆘🆘 1ST Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY URGENT – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱
➡️ 38 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ PJ IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS -He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! I have lived with cats in my previous home. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I'll need daily interaction with you as I get used to my new life. Hi, my name is Pj and the shelter has been a little overwhelming for me. I came from a home with many cats, who I've gotten along with well. Because I've lived in this home my entire life and have only been around one person, I have little experience with people and am hesitant of new experiences. I would enjoy living in a quiet home, preferably one with lots of vertical space so I have a place to perch and observe the room. I would also appreciate having experienced, patient adopter(s) who are willing to take things slow with me. I would benefit from socialization, using rewards whenever I make a small positive step like making eye contact, allowing petting, or sniffing your hand. I'd prefer to take things at my own pace and would appreciate some good old fashion TLC. If you can open your heart to adopt a cat like me, I'll hopefully have the confidence to come around to my new people, like you! ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

we're so full right now but I couldn't say no to this senior boy who was living in a colony and was hit by a car. It happened 2+ weeks ago but I was just alerted to the situation yesterday. His pelvis is broken and his hind leg is now necrotic and infected and so painful.
🆘🆘 BEBE BOOP (ID 256319), 4 YO, FEMALE– IN MANHATTAN ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 6/4/2026, with the surrender reason stated as animal health - will need ongoing vet care. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
➡️TBD 6/9/26
➡️ MEDICAL PRIORITY – NEEDS MORE CARE AND ATTENTION THAN THE SHELTER CAN PROVIDE -😱😱😱
➡️ 🆘🆘 1ST Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY URGENT – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱
➡️ 4 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ BEBE BOOP IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL REASONS -Bebe Boop has neurologic deficits, is emaciated, and has had unusually stunted growth. Bebe Boop needs care and further medical support the we cannot provide in the Care Center. This evaluation/diagnosis means that BEBE BOOP will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children. I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing. I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home! Bebe Boop interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

➡️ 32 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ WHITTAKERS IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display challenging behavior during interactions. He is extremely intelligent and high energy, and needs to expend energy constructively with interactive play sessions 3-4X/day. In addition to playtime, this cat would also benefit from mental exercise from activities such as puzzle toys/games, lick mats, or clicker training. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! Playtime is essential! I love climbing tall cat trees and having fun with interactive toys! I would do best in a home with only adult humans. I am not one to sit still! I will flourish in a home with someone that will keep me mentally and physically active! ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻
