@ryuseibonfire try to develop interest in your subjects so you’d not only have an incentive to learn, but you’ll do really well in that subject too! (as you’ll likely put in effort outside of class)
i like watching chubbyemu videos and that has helped me understand key terms in my biology class
@ryuseibonfire grades are still important, but pls have a good work-life balance, most high achieving students dont just study 24/7 (contrary to popular beliefs)
@ryuseibonfire a lot of those sigma grind study channels tell u to only associate with high achieving students (for positive influence) but i believe that as long as your friends arent the type to drag u down (e.g. coerce or convince you to skip class) then its ok!
@ryuseibonfire i also highly suggest that u start getting into extracurriculars (that you like) or competitions (e.g. debate) & win more awards because it will look amazing on your university CV/applications
theres no pressure to do this early in freshman years though
@ryuseibonfire a last-minute study method that me and others use is to grab a blank sheet of paper and just write everything i know for that particular test (off the top of my head) and then check whats missing/wrong and add to the piece of paper > then repeat the process
@ryuseibonfire ik a lot of study channels tell u to sleep early before an exam but if you’re desperate and dont have the knowledge in the first place then i suggest cramming! i crammed a high A for geography in my IGCSEs even though i barely knew anything (used to not listen to class oops)
@wermyz your art is absolutely gorg, i do think that you could try to implement more values and shadows to add a sense of coherence between props, accessories and the subject matter + anatomy just a liddol stiff
