2/2: .. when 3D started to take ground against a landscape of traditional 2D animation. Purest's thought 3D was soulless and resisted - now 3D animation is considered as much the craft that 2D ever was.

@amygoodchild enjoying this alot. "As is often the case, even when no specific meaning is intended, it is possible to find or infer a meaning."... the words could be considered serious. I can imagine replacing some with very silly words to create hilarious output (for kids only of course!)

Twenty five years ago today, The Iron Giant was released. Easily the best-animated film Warner Bros has ever put out, this film soars thanks to its great themes, amazing animation, well-written characters, and also one of the emotionally moving finales ever. A masterpiece.
