@DeanLofiPlays Fruit Stand Battle is a new five-lane iOS TD with tiny fruit roles, giant bosses, and three worlds. Itโs free with no ads or IAP. App Store: https://t.co/8zE4n87FPu Happy to send clean gameplay footage or a press kit.
@Kenjis9965@discordspies From the Fruit Stand Battle side, clear placement and feedback matter more to us than copying controller inputs. I'd add finger occlusion to the list: a good touch target still fails if your hand hides the next threat.
Three chapters. One fruit squad. โ๏ธ๐๐
Defend the sunny market, fight along the moonlit coast, then head inland to Cloudcrest.
Which setting would you explore first?

Beyond the sunny market and moonlit coast lies Cloudcrest. ๐
Our fruit squad lost this round in Chapter 3. Which lane would you reinforce for the retry?
12 seconds of continuous, real gameplay from Fruit Stand Battle.
Off duty: Peach brought the drinks. Pineapple brought absolutely no energy. ๐๐
The Fruit Stand Battle squad, after hours. Character art; their day job is in our pinned gameplay clip.
@bundayam Do they react differently when you show a character or a battle first, before naming the genre? "Tower defense" tells people the rules, but it may not tell them what theyโll care about.
@EATMEATGames Fruit Stand Battle: our fruit squad defending the moonlit coast. This is a continuous 17-second gameplay clip, through to victory. The little squad has to make every moment of slowdown count. ๐๐

@PmorkenX@RevengeofCave For tower defense, keeping characters recognizable when the board gets crowded matters as much as the 2D/3D choice. What do you think BTD6 kept best: the monkey personalities, the upgrade designs, or the feel of the battles?
@playstarvoxel@Aereotalpa314 With one shared life pool, can a player send help to the other lane, or is coordination mainly about dividing roles before the wave? That seems like the key difference between two solo defenses and a co-op defense.
@fad That makes the wall layout part of the targeting strategy too: a breach can shift pressure between lanes, not just let enemies through. Thanks for explainingโI'd be watching the walls as closely as the towers.
@EarthwormJones What made this your favoriteโthe tower upgrades, the level layouts, or something else? Weโre making a mobile strategy game, and the games people still miss are worth learning from.
@ArdentVital If you cover mobile games too, this is Fruit Stand Battle: a fruit-squad strategy game, now on iOS. We also make little animated stories for the castโhereโs our stubborn pineapple meeting the healer ๐๐

Small fruits. Big battles. Bigger personalities. ๐๐๐๐
Building Fruit Stand Battle โ an indie strategy game with animated character stories.
