Ever since I switched to blue-tinted photochromic lenses, life low-key looks like T2 whenever I step outside.
Surprisingly, I go out more often these days (hopefully the novelty doesn't wear out).
@RhoTau@ponnappa Ravi, how much does it differ from the first two seasons of Stand Alone Complex?
I've only read the Manga once, but I remember it being considerably layered, to the point where multiple re-reads were a necessity (even Oshii admitted as much).
@ponnappa There's two scenes in particular that I often revisit. One is from the Calsonic R32's 1990 run at Bathhurst.

The other is from an episode of Initial D where its pitted against an RX-7.

@ponnappa Tell me about it. It has some bushido-esque lore to it as well.
Shinichiro Sakurai (who worked on the original Skylines) was so obsessed with it that he referred to it as his alter ego.

@TopDriverIndia Lucy Mancini x Sonny Corleone was quite the scene. It inspired a certain kind of arousal in me that no visual equivalent was able to match (till date).
@ghuubear@ponnappa this is also where your token performative marketing bro might come and ask 'that's cool and all but did it contribute to pipeline? '
@TopDriverIndia We do, Naresh. It's just not accessible to most of us.
@indiMotard runs an excellent riding school, and I doubt the concept will take off in India. Most people don't care about following good road etiquette.
@sm Sara, I've had the misfortune of seeing one of these up close. They're players (read: serial grifters) who proactively coach other up-and-coming grifters.
Only in Silicon Valley, I tell you.
