Striker is a golden-ringed dragonfly! Dragonflies being extremely successful hunters, it seems fitting that she’d be a warrior/adventurer type. I can’t speak as to how dragonflies conduct their romantic activities, however.

Pip’s full name is Phillipus. I looked up juvenile black-capped chickadees so I could draw him as a child accurately… but it turns out they basically look the same as the adults. So this is in fact an accurate rendering!
