We all wish we were born in happier easier times.
But instead *these* are the times we were born in to, and we must live and love our way through them.

Many don’t realize that the first people Hitler sent to his concentration camps weren’t everyday Jewish citizens, but his political opponents. So, when Trump rants about retribution, locking up his opponents, and giving them “very long sentences,” I can’t help but take him seriously… because history teaches us that is what fascist dictators do during their “Day One” period to consolidate their power. (After all, if you’re hellbent on staying in power but aren’t likely to win the next election, you can’t have your political opponents running around free.)
To keep fascism out of our lives, vote for democracy!
I’ve been all over the country in the last month.
And I get asked the same question, over and over again:
“I disagree with Kamala’s position on the war in Gaza. How can I vote for her?”
Here is my answer:
Walz: Look, I won't waste all of the time. I will talk about his running mate. His running mate, Elon Musk. Elon is on that stage jumping around skipping like a dipshit.
There have been massive demonstrations in Turkey with women taking to the streets with estimates in 100k. Even the US Embassy is warning people. The media ban is working perfectly if you haven't heard about it.
We urge our colleagues and students to read these United Nations “recommendations for universities worldwide for the second semester of 2024:”

we like to make fun of russian disinfo as obvious & ineffective but the khelif thing is a clear example of success - started by a corrupt russian IBO official (Kremlev) whose org was bankrolled by a russian corp (Gazprom) & who started the rumor after Khelif beat a russian boxer
"In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility," Hitler wrote in "Mein Kampf," his 1925 autobiographical manifesto. He observed that most people are only comfortable telling small lies, and imagined others would be as uncomfortable as themselves perpetuating big ones. "It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously," Hitler explained. "Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation."
Yep. Mission accomplished indeed.
