U.S. General Keith Kellogg addressed one of the most common claims spread by Russian propaganda and some pro-Trump commentators.

While pro-Kremlin sources continue to claim that Zelenskyy bought luxury villas and yachts with U.S. taxpayer money, Kellogg said U.S. oversight has found no evidence to support such allegations. He noted that Zelenskyy built his wealth before entering politics through his career in the entertainment industry, and that U.S. assistance to Ukraine is subject to strict monitoring.

According to Kellogg, claims that Zelenskyy stole U.S. aid are false and are intended to undermine international support for Ukraine.

La propagande russe change de ton : fini la "victoire à tout prix", place au compromis et à la gelée des combats.
Les médias pro-Poutine, comme le journaliste Anatoli Kouzitchev (Première Chaîne), avouent désormais que sans nouvelle mobilisation massive, la Russie ne pourra même pas garder les territoires ukrainiens illégalement annexés.
Pire : Ivan Pankine, autre propagandiste, ose évoquer un cessez-le-feu sur les lignes actuelles – un scénario jusqu’ici rejeté avec mépris par Moscou.

Quant à Dmitri Stéchine, figure de la désinformation, a annoncé à l’antenne de Komsomolskaïa Pravda : "Il n’y a jamais eu de guerre civile au Donbass, c’était l’armée russe." Il a même confirmé l’implication directe de Moscou dans les batailles de l’aéroport de Donetsk et de Debaltseve en 2015, admettant que l’Ukraine était déjà un adversaire trop coriace… et que le Kremlin a ignoré les leçons.

La machine à mentir s’essouffle. Les propagandistes préparent déjà l’opinion à un échec cuisant, en promettant de vendre n’importe quelle décision de Poutine comme "la meilleure pour la Russie".
