One thing I enjoy doing every now and then is reading reports like this not because I'm trying to predict the market, but because they help me understand where the industry is actually heading.

One trend immediately stood out to me.

Crypto exchanges aren't just competing to list more tokens anymore.

They're competing to become complete financial platforms.

A few years ago, most people compared exchanges based on trading fees, liquidity, or the number of listed assets.

Now the conversation is shifting toward things like:
• Tokenized stocks
• TradFi perpetuals
• RWA products
• Pre-IPO market access
• Cross-market trading

That tells me the industry is evolving beyond "crypto-only."
Another statistic that caught my attention was how TradFi perpetual trading volume grew from $52B in January to $268B in June. That's a massive jump and shows there's growing demand for accessing traditional market exposure through crypto exchanges.

The report also highlighted Bitget as the second-largest exchange by TradFi perpetual trading volume, while many major exchanges launched products around tokenized equities, IPO access, and other TradFi integrations during the quarter.

For me, this isn't about saying one platform is better than another.
It's about seeing where the market is moving.

The line between crypto and traditional finance keeps getting thinner, and I think we'll see even more products that bring both worlds together over the next few years.

I'm still learning every day, but reports like this help me understand the bigger picture beyond charts and price action.
