Financial controller for an S&P500. Anything I am directly knowledgeable of I can't discuss, so posts are allusions at best and otherwise mostly trash.
@Hubert_Fronten3@shakoistsLog Unclear. So far all my DRAM offerings have yielded nothing. I have tried fire, water, and earth mediums and so far no dice.
It is going to be painful but folks really need to get real about what the future of model control looks like. As citizens we can’t own Javelins and 99% of folk agree with this but you expect we are going to be able to legally run abliterated models out of our garages forever?
In the coming years, as millennials, we must remember to be kind as our zoomer and alpha brethren near terminal convulsions from internet withdrawal and that only we, who bridged the analog-digital divide, can teach them the ways of the past they will need to survive.
@lumpenspace Also these dipshits need to build a Time Machine for what they are calling for to even have a chance of working. We are way past the event horizon now. No way out but through.
@izzyz As relative no one working in finance my phone is basically just now a thing that connects me to spoofs of my c-suite asking for wire transfers so god knows what important people are getting hit with.
I am man enough to admit that when I started reading the news today I phpeed myself a little and dropped my phpb&j on the floor. Calmed myself down with some chamomile phtea. So many ants now though I can hardly phsee the carpet. Guess I will phbe cleaning this mess up all night.
@Lib_Development Not at any one moment no but if you look at how many people will have cancer over the sum total of their lives it is a pretty significant number though not a majority. So not a bad area to allocate resources. I do get what you mean in terms of it being a very uninspiring vision.
@PythiaR Impossible. It was clearly an unknown unknown until this latest war. A priori it was impossible to know that the hardline org in charge of state security since 1979 has a heavy influence in governance.
