Oh yea.. he was DNPd because the team was winning during that stretch. This was after the Jimmy trade and JK was hurt. Warriors didnt have games to trick off trying to experiment. The rotation they had was the 2nd best team in the league after the allstar break.

They gave JK that contract because his stock went up after that series. But the relationship was already done by then. The agreement was always to trade him after giving him that contract
