Adam Silver says he’s “not ready” to support a change to the 65-game rule so soon after its implementation. From a rule incentivizing players to participate in 80 percent of the games, “the rule is working.”
It isn’t the scheme that other superstar players take issue with; it’s the treatment. Kerr’s an awful communicator (media pandering excluded) with a huge ego resulting in a horrible recipe for managing other superstar players.
@SurfJournalist@GoldenDazePod Kerr's preferential treatment of Steph is actually running an offense that highlights Steph's game. If you run a different style of offense, Steph gets fewer shots. If Kerr had a player who could be the engine for the Warriors, he would change the offense.
The number of angry folks in the replies to this post who still don’t get it, and probably never will. 🤦🏻
It isn’t Steph that Giannis doesn’t want to play second fiddle to.
It’s Kerr’s preferential treatment of Steph that rubs thin on other superstar players.

Landmark: Golden State star Stephen Curry's 10-year endorsement deal with Li-Ning is worth over $400 million, industry sources tell ESPN. Curry had similar financial commitments from other brands, including at least one more lucrative offer, but chose Li-Ning to power Curry Brand.
With its gated mansions, Atherton represents the zenith of the American Dream. Just down the road, many of North Fair Oaks’ residents immigrated here for that promise, only to cram families into tiny apartments.

Rick Adelman left an indelible mark on the NBA during his nearly four decades in the league, both as a player for seven seasons and as a coach for 29 seasons, including two seasons with the Warriors (1995-97).
His creativity and ingenuity led his teams to 1,042 wins during his illustrious coaching career, the 10th-most in NBA history, and earned him entry into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.
We extend our thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, and the hundreds of lives he impacted, both on and off the court, throughout a legendary career.
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has signed a shoe endorsement contract with Chinese company Li-Ning -- a landmark 10-year deal, sources tell ESPN. Li-Ning extends his Curry Brand venture globally and encompasses basketball products, athleisure, the ability for Curry to sign athletes under his brand, and a full golf line.
The following players will conduct pre-draft workouts with the Warriors on Monday, 6/1:

Peter Suder (G) — Miami (Ohio)
Lamar Wilkerson (G) — Indiana
This is CRAZY.
Even crazier?
Budz won the same number of titles the last 9 years as Steve Kerr but because Kerr was lucky as F to inherit that Warriors team in 2014 you have a large number of ignoramuses in the NBA sphere thinking he’s some genius.
"Mike Budenholzer? He was explaining to Kevin Durant how to score a basket. It was absurd.
Then, at the end, you find out he was struggling with alcohol addiction..." 🍻
Jusuf Nurkic, now a member of the Utah Jazz, shared strong criticism of the Phoenix Suns system under head coach Mike Budenholzer during an appearance on the X&O’s Chat podcast. 😲

A warning to all future #1 draft picks to GS: Under Steve Kerr, no one will improve. They will change though, either molded into some working part envisioned by the coach or spit out, stripped of their confidence and left struggling to find their own path.
