Cybersecurity hobbyist @DeadSecCTF, @malta_ctf and @ctfminions.
Mainly interested in reverse engineering and forensics.
I don't use LLMs btw

I played skateboarding dog CTF 2026 alone and placed 9th out of 209 teams! I'm so glad a no-LLM rule was enforced; it's the closest I've last felt to playing CTFs in the pre-LLM era. Thanks to @sk8boardingdog and @BSidesCbr for holding this great event!

Last week, I played QnQSec CTF 2025 with @DeadSecCTF and solved several reverse engineering challenges, one of which only got 3 solves out of 738 teams. I enjoyed solving it and made a writeup: https://t.co/uA0ldt0iga

Thanks to @qnqsec for the fun CTF!

I played bi0sCTF 2025 with @DeadSecCTF and got first blood🩸on one of the reverse engineering challenges! This was really fun and I made a writeup on it: https://t.co/WFVjITUg5R

Thanks to @teambi0s for the cool challenges!

A week ago, I played IrisCTF 2025 with @DeadSecCTF and solved the hardest reverse engineering challenge (7 solves out of 1064 teams). It really tested my WASM reversing skills! This is my writeup on it: https://t.co/sLbAezswNI

Many thanks to @IrisCTF for hosting a great CTF!

@6502_ftw I see, I'll try what I can think of then. Thanks for the clarification!

Got through the first half of #flareon11 yesterday, and now I'm stuck trying to understand the goal behind level 6. I think I know what should happen if I did 'the right thing,' but currently I don't see how to figure that out.

Is it okay if I asked the author for clarification?

[fsharp @fsharp123]

@maciekkotowicz No, not yet unfortunately. I can think of a few ways for the challenge to make sense, but I don't know which of them is correct.

In UIUCTF 2024, I got second blood on a reverse engineering challenge ('tooooo fancy') that was solved by only 6 teams out of 958. It was very interesting and I made a writeup on it: https://t.co/2upF5vFyNZ

Thanks to @sigpwny for hosting a fun CTF and congrats to the winners!

[fsharp @fsharp123]

I played @Bugcrowd's CTF alone and placed 4th out of 325 teams! The challenges were interesting and some of them were quite tough, especially the ones in the web and OSINT categories.
Congrats to the winners and thanks for the fun CTF!

Has anyone solved flake from #flareon10 the way I did?

To bypass the snake length check, I patched the hardcoded high score to a low number. I then bypassed the constants object CRC check during runtime and played the game normally. No need to mess with the config file.

After 27 days, 5 hours and 38 minutes, I've cleared #flareon10. My favourite challenges are FlareSay, kupo and over_the_rainbow. Looking forward to next year's Flare-On CTF!
