The afternoon was was excellent out at the field school. We studied snow depth and over story and the relationship to wildlife habitat for habitat. Saw some elk evidence. Looked at some 500 year old Douglas Fir. Saw bear claw marks on the bark that was pretty recent.

Our new course, Geography 12/Environmental Science 11, has been busy in the field doing stream assessments on Nahounli Creek. Back in the classroom, students worked on identifying invertebrates.
