Pupils enjoyed a trip to Cannes after classes yesterday afternoon, where they saw some famous hand prints and stood on some very famous steps. π«π· This was followed by a stop at the biggest shopping centre in the area for some retail therapy! ποΈ

It was great to have PGCE students, Michael Ganacias and Grace McCrea, with us on Thursday for European Day of Languages. Thanks for your help with Food Fest!

Yesterdayβs Food Fest was a great end to a very rainy day. Year 8 sampled typical French, Spanish and German foods, and as ever, the waffles went down a treat! π§
Junior pupils enjoyed being taught some new phrases in the languages that their peers speak this week. We had Urdu, Romanian and Cantonese to name but a few. Well done to all our volunteer teachers! π€
We kicked off celebrations for European Day of Languages with two inspiring assemblies from our Language Ambassadors and past-pupil, Seren Mageean. It was wonderful to hear how your travel experiences have been enhanced by speaking multiple languages! π
