Ask your current healthcare providers to take the FSM Core training. Any healthcare provider who is licensed to use electrical stimulation can add Frequency Specific Microcurrent to their practice. This could include medical , chiropractic, osteopathic and naturopathic physicians; acupuncturists; and physical therapists.
We have also had individuals with a strong background in anatomy and physiology take the FSM Core training in order to treat themselves using FSM, or their immediate family members (they are not permitted to treat anyone else without a license that permits the use of electrical stimulation).
When progress stalls, the answer often isn’t something new — it’s going back to the basics.
Thorough patient histories and thoughtful exams still reveal some of the most important insight,

Long before “systems-based care” became a buzzword, clinicians were already asking better questions:
❓What if pain, inflammation, and nervous system dysfunction are connected?
❓What if listening more closely changes outcomes?
❓What if we need more tools—not more labels?
FSM has never been about quick fixes.
👩⚕️💭 It’s about clinical curiosity, thoughtful application, and expanding what’s possible for patients who need more options.
From early seminars like this one in 2009 to today’s global practitioner community, the mission remains the same:
💟support better care through deeper understanding.
If you’re feeling that pull to learn more, you’re not behind—you’re right on time.
🩺 FSM Core training continues that legacy.

Neurological issues like frozen shoulder, anxiety, and depression often have deeper roots in systemic inflammation or autoimmunity. 🧠
Understanding the interconnectedness of these conditions can aid in creating a more holistic treatment plan.🕸
In clinical practice, FSM is often explored alongside broader considerations like autoimmune involvement, environmental stressors, and dietary factors—helping practitioners build more patient-centered, systems-based care plans.
🎓 For healthcare practitioners:
If you’re looking to expand your clinical toolbox with an evidence-informed, non-invasive modality, the FSM Core Seminar provides the foundational training to apply FSM safely and effectively in practice.
🩺 For patients:
FSM is used worldwide by trained clinicians. If this approach resonates, you can seek out an FSM practitioner—or ask your current provider if they’re familiar with or interested in learning FSM.

Brain fog is a common yet often overlooked condition, impacting the cognitive functions of many patients.
It can manifest due to various reasons, including long-term COVID-19 effects, traumatic brain injuries, autoimmune disorders, or nutritional deficiencies. Identifying the root cause is crucial for targeted treatment.
FSM practitioners are encouraged to explore underlying issues such as inflammation, prior head injuries, and even dietary influences, as gluten sensitivity is known to contribute to brain fog.
Treatment Protocols:
• Employ FSM brain fog protocols tailored to the suspected underlying cause.
• Combine FSM with anti-inflammatory protocols and nutritional support to enhance cognitive function.
• Consider functional medicine assessments for potential autoimmune influences contributing to cognitive impairment.

In the fast-paced world of medicine, reorienting challenges as opportunities for learning can be transformative.
Instead of viewing a patient's complex case as a setback, consider asking yourself, "What is this patient here to teach me?"
This shift in mindset not only alleviates the pressure of immediate perfection but opens avenues for deeper understanding and innovative solutions.
Frequency Specific Microcurrent is about remaining inquisitive, and your commitment to evolving as a practitioner.

A mindset of gratitude can be transformative not just personally but also professionally. ✨
Reflecting on small achievements and grateful moments can set a positive tone for medical practice. 👩⚕️
Beginning the day with a goal of improving someone’s life can ripple into effective patient interactions and outcomes. 🤧
This approach ensures that every patient leaves better than when they arrived and that every treatment session adds value, even if the progress is not immediately visible. 📈

"Everyone's intuition is different, and the intuitive communication with every patient will be unique. The frequency response, the tissue softening and relaxation that happens with the resonance effect, will confirm the intuition as right or wrong almost immediately." -Dr. Carolyn McMakin, The Resonance Effect
In episode 177 of the Frequency Specific Podcast, Dr. Carol shares a story about a recent patient with a cavernous hemangioma and a stroke.
When dealing with patients recovering from strokes, especially when there are complications from conditions such as cavernous hemangioma, FSM can assist in addressing nervous system injuries. By using experimental frequencies aimed at promoting neural recovery, FSM practitioners can help reduce facial spasticity and overall body tightness. This approach emphasizes the importance of understanding brain anatomy and leveraging FSM to stimulate appropriate brain functions.
"For 3 wounded warriors, FSM was combined with acupuncture treatments, resulting in more-rapid reduction of their pain and associated symptoms; including memory problems, mental sluggishness, and posttraumatic stress disorder. FSM was found to be a safe, nonpainful, noninvasive treatment that could be administered concurrently and beneficially with acupuncture."
