@TheScotsman@mrjamesob I think this says it all.If I could pick anyone famous to a dinner party he would be first on my list. We are definitely in a Orwellian society, we are the subjects of lies and misinformation.
@MartinKnight_ Well it definitely looks like Victoria bus station, probably late Forties. But look closer and you will see that the lady sitting in the cab is the clippie. This was a regular thing even in the seventies and eighties when they would keep warm in the drivers cab on their stand time
@The_East_End Yes,especially when I was very young. The teacher used to put the bottles on the hot radiator pipes to warm up in the winter. We still got it in my first year at secondary school, they stopped it after the Easter term in Scotland.
@maxreestore@InstaVoltUK There's nothing so satisfying watching your neighbours scrapping the ice off their cars knowing yours is preheating whilst you finnish your morning cuppa.
@Ashy_slashee Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.I remember Christopher Lee as the Bar owner in battle of the river Plate and Peter Cushing played a great Doctor who in Dale's Invasion of the earth AD1966.
@BBCSteveR Sadly,I think anything can happen. I'm worried that he will abandon Ukraine and possibly leave NATO.
Of course, it may be just sabre rattling. One thing he does have in common with putin.
@BBCSteveR@LizaShuvalova I watched your interview with him on last nights news.Amazing and quite historical. I think we need to prepare for a future conflict with Russia especially if Mr Trump wins the US election.
