The spring commencement ceremonies may be over, but we're still celebrating @FloridaState's largest class yet! Yudan Chen, who earned his doctorate in chemistry through @ChemistryFsu, shares the most meaningful part of his time at FSU.
"Achieving significant progress and a major breakthrough in my primary research project led to a deeper understanding of the long-debated failure mechanisms in solid-state batteries. This four-year effort was recognized by the battery research community and published in the top journal in the field of materials science, Nature Materials."
Postgraduation, Chen is pursuing a career in research and development within the battery industry as a materials scientist, optimizing battery performance, longevity and safety. You can read more about his published research here: https://t.co/TFX3gJ1JX0
Congratulations, Yudan!

The spring commencement ceremonies may be over, but we're still celebrating @FloridaState's largest class yet! Erica Truong, who earned her doctorate in chemistry through @ChemistryFsu, shares the most meaningful part of her time at #FSU.
"The most meaningful moments during my studies were the opportunities to work with fellow graduate students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures as well as renowned scientists at the @NationalMagLab to learn exceptional techniques for materials research."
Postgraduation, Truong is applying to positions in both industry and academia while simultaneously continuing her research and development of rechargeable batteries for energy storage. You can read more about her research published in Science Advances here: https://t.co/EBwxjDYOKC
Congratulations, Erica!

Congratulations Yudan! Well done! Truly one of the best thesis defenses. It was wonderful working with you on understanding dendrite formation in solid electrolytes. I wish you the best!
Congratulations to Erica for successfully defending her dissertation! It was a pleasure working with Erica for the past 5 years and her exciting work on solid state electrolytes! I wish her the best on future endeavors!
Happy to announce our latest work is now published in @NatureMaterials ! Here we used the power of NMR/MRI to understand dendrite formation. Thank you to @Harryliucame , Yudan Chen and Po-Hsiu Chien for leading this effort! Read here: https://t.co/c4JkIT3O2j
Wonderful paper on a Li-halide electrolyte material! This is Bright's first co-first author paper with my recent graduate, Dr. Tej Poudel.
