More information: Despite being an undergrad in a team of mostly graduate students, David designed the gripper hand as well as set up the haptic control system for it and the arm. He also trained each judge for an hour before they operated the robot during the 25-minute test.

We had many reliability issues at our 1/19 qualifier but were able to score 112 in one match. Even though the 3-stone auto worked, the 3rd stone's bad placement (see photo) prevented us from grabbing the foundation. #skystone
One year ago: 30 hours before leaving for Superregionals. We could not figure out why i2c ports on the rev hub kept dying and disabling hub. After 2 hours with rev rep at esr, problem was likely esd through their v1 color sensor. We competed rest of year with mr sensor.
