Messages of Congratulations
President Donald Trump of the United States, President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, King Charles III of the United Kingdom, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh of Mongolia, President Hakainde Hichilema of the Republic of Zambia, President Anura Kumara Disanayaka of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have sent messages of congratulations to the people and Government of Eritrea on the occasion of the 35th Independence anniversary.
In their messages, sent on behalf of their respective countries and themselves, the leaders conveyed their best wishes for good health to President Isaias Afwerki, as well as peace and prosperity to the Eritrean people.
They also expressed their countries’ readiness to enhance mutual relations and cooperation with Eritrea and to work together on issues of mutual interest.
In his message, President Donald Trump said that the American people join him in congratulating the people and Government of Eritrea on the 35th anniversary of Eritrea’s independence, May 24. He also expressed respect and admiration for the steadfast spirit and resilience of the Eritrean people, as well as for their dedication to Eritrea’s national sovereignty.
President Donald Trump further noted that, consistent with the sentiment he expressed in his letter to President Isaias last year, and with the previous era now behind us, he believes the time is right to move forward and work together on shared peace and prosperity across the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea.
King Charles III also said that Eritrea’s experience in conserving water and protecting its precious natural resources offers valuable lessons as communities everywhere adapt to environmental change.
President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, for his part, said that at a time when the Horn of Africa and the Middle East are passing through great challenges, Germany desires to work in partnership with Eritrea to ensure peace, stability, and development in the region and beyond. #Eritrea
🚨 Assab Is 🇪🇷 Eritrean — History Proves It. No Myths. No Debate.
💡 “Facts are stubborn things; they do not cease to exist because they are ignored.” – Thomas Huxley
Abiy’s camp keeps barking about Assab Port like entitled colonizers — but never once present a shred of evidence. Let’s break it down with history, law, and facts.
📜 Why Ethiopia’s Claims Fall Flat:
🟥 1. Adwa Logic – Ethiopians brag about the 1896 Adwa victory… so why didn’t Menelik advance to the Red Sea if Ethiopia had any claim?
🟩 2. Menelik’s 1897 Treaty – Just one year later, Menelik signed a border agreement placing Ethiopia 60km away from the sea — by his own choice. He even demanded this from the Italians, proving zero coastal claim.
🟦 3. Winners vs. Losers – Winners of wars make demands; losers make concessions. Menelik’s concession shows Ethiopia had no historical, cultural, or legal ties to Eritrea’s coastline.
🟨 4. African Borders are Sacred – The AU Charter is crystal clear: colonial borders are sacrosanct. No revisions. No fabrications.
🟧 5. The EEBC Ruling (2002, The Hague) – The Eritrea–Ethiopia Border Commission legally and finally settled the matter. No Eritrean port or coast was ever under debate. Case closed.
💬 Eritrea’s Message to Ethiopians 🇪🇹:
1️⃣ Eritreans know war better than most — but no one desires peace more than us.
2️⃣ We trust history, law, and readiness — not 4-Kilo fabrications.
3️⃣ We don’t just wish for peace — we guarantee it with strength, discipline, and clarity.
🕊️ Let’s live as true neighbors — in truth and peace.
But if provoked, 🇪🇷 Eritrea will defend every inch of its sovereignty.
📌The HArd Truth:
💡 “Peace is secured not by begging, but by standing firm.”
🕊️ Truth Builds Peace — Lies Build Wars 🌍
💡 “He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it.”

Yesterday at the Great Run in #Ethiopia's capital, #AddisAbaba. The youth were defiantly chanting:
“እየመጡ ነው! እየመጡ ነው!”
[“They are coming! They are coming!”]
And who are the ones who are coming, you ask?
Definitely not the British.🤔😉
That's the way power crumbles…
Killing Amhara innocent people, backstabbing your neighbours, and becoming a puppet leader who promoted the full range of European and American foreign policy objectives wouldn't serve well for Ukraine's war and will not be beneficial for #Ethiopia, either. Learn how to live in peace first with your neighbour. @AbiyAhmedAli
I believe President Isaias has done better for #Ethiopia's unity than Meles and Abiy, who turned #Ethiopia into a multi-ethnic state of division, domination and violence and made it the most racist country ever seen. They create a country of displacement from their homes through threats, intimidation, and a campaign of violence. They are not nation-builders but nation-breakers; they fit better as #Tigray or #Oromo ethnic leaders than #Ethiopian leaders.
President Isaias Afwerki and his delegation were accorded warm welcome by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz and other Saudi officials on arrival at King Khalid International Airport earlier today.
